AIG Just Doesn't Get It

It wasn't enough that AIG spent 440,000 dollars on 10 of their executives. Now they have another event planned for next week in order to promote team building.
Some of the workshops include; how to help your buddy tie on their bib before enjoying a meal of gourmet stuffed lobster. The always popular golfing for taxpayer dollars. After a long day of working together and building important skills employees will be flown to Sweden for massages.
If they spent 44,000 per person for their last event. What's the price tag on this one AIG? At 44,000 per person this one may run them a cool 2-6 million dollars depending on how many are in attendance.
Of course AIG doesn't have to worry about it costing them anything, thanks to our government giving them an 85 billion dollar bailout last month and then this week giving them another 36 billion dollar bailout.
I don't know about you, but if my company was dead broke and had to go to the government for a handout I sure as heck would be canceling all preplanned events.
I guess common sense just doesn't trickle up to the corporate world. These fat cats are too busy trying to suck every last dime and nickel from the American Taxpayer.
In the real world, most of us live in, if your business goes under there is no government bailout or rescue plan. The same should apply to these corporations that are deemed "to big to fail."
Get your act together corporate America because the American Taxpayers are not going to pay for your greed.
