Economic Serenity in These Unstable Times
Friday was a roller coaster for the stock market. Gold went above $1000 an ounce and stocks plunged almost 200 points. If you still watch the evening news you are being told that gas will soon rise to $4.00 a gallon and economic Armageddon is almost upon us.

Hearing these things on a daily basis can make even the sanest person a bit shall we say insane. Of course, what most people don't realize is that the news is a form of entertainment. They must make you scared in order to get you to tune into the news. After all, if you don't watch the news, then their ratings go down and when ratings go down so does advertising revenue.
Where were the news reports before housing bubble burst? How come they didn't warn people about the unscrupulous lenders, etc until after the fact?
Do you want some serenity and peace? The first step is to turn off your television.
